Lucid login screen background panel is white

No background panel at login screen panel is white lucid rc-canidate after installing was normal after upgrades image now is white.

I removed ubuntu-wallpapers-extra package seemed to of have fixed it.

When i installed ( ubuntu-wallpapers-extra ) from synaptic it loads the white orchid background at login screen as a background but i deleted the orchid background and had not logged out so when i did it gave white background at login so i removed ubuntu-wallpapers-extra and it set the default background back to the purple.This might be the way the package works i do not know might be a bug.
