WI FI PRINTING

Asked by Edward G Robinson

Hello,

After assistance from Mark I managed to get my WIFI router, and internet connection working via WICP. My problem now is with
my WIFI printer.

I have tried several things but my printer is not being found. I can tell that my printer is connected to my router as the green light
is permanently on.

My printer is a Lexmark Z2420

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have installed the driver as requested but on doing so I had to connect the printer to the computer. It will now print if connected but, how do I change it to print wirelessly?

Hope someone can help me out please.

Thanks, and regards,

Edward
Thanks,

Edward.

Hi,

there is a thread of a guy who got that printer running.

http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1442219

You should be able to perform the steps also with the Administration / Printing Interface instead of using the CUPS Webinterface.

Cheers,
Gunnar
