How'd I use Evolution with RPC over HTTP and Exchange Connection as Outlook?

Asked by kero

In MS Outlook, it can check connection via LAN and RPC over HTTP. How could I do that in Evolution with 1 inbox/profile?

in case ur MS Exchange server is 2003 ... u can use Evolution Exchange mailbox.

If u have 2007, try Evolution MAPI. u will need install it:

$ sudo apt-get install evolution-mapi

OR in any case, u can use IMAP =).

Now I used evolution MAPI ready but I have to divide account to 2 mailboxes. It cannot detect my connection automatically as MS Outlook on Microsoft Windows that when I use LAN, it will use MAPI and when I use ADSL, it will use RPC over HTTP in 1 mailbox.

Thank you

u can try Virtual Network for ADSL. So, U will need only MAPI.
or u can use RPC over HTTP for both connections.

Can you help with this problem?
