Evolution Email / Gmail

I have Evolution Email set to take care of Gmail. Seems to work pretty good. The indicator shows 1 unread email in the Gmail inbox when there does not appear to be any messages there. I have shut down and restarted Evolution without effect. I have restarted Ubuntu, also with no effect. Of course I am a newbie with Linux and I do appreciate the help I have received to my various questions.
