Update 8.10 to Ubuntu Studio 9.10

hi folks

I want to update my ubuntu 8.10 to ubuntustudio 9.10 i have tried lots of things
can it be done with sudo apt-get install ubuntustudio command in termial
or by synaptic update manager ( i have not found the packages)

While in your main screen hit your ALT key + F2. That should bring up a small box with a text entry area. In that type without quotes, "update-manager -d" That should help ya..

You will need to upgrade to Jaunty first (9.04), You can then upgrade to Karmic

You can install the Ubuntu studio packages once you get to 9.10 (makes upgrading faster due to fewer packages).

Incidentally you should upgrade soon as Intrepid is EOL next month so will no longer be supported or updated
