new user needs a printer

I have a recently installed Ubuntu version 9.10 . From what I can gather my x3400 Lexmark Printer isn't compatible. I need an inexpensive all in one printer that will work with Ubuntu 9.10. Anyone have any suggestions?

HP have a fantastic support of Linux, i'd get one of those.
