cannot access yahoomail through mozilla firefox 3.0.11 in ubuntu 8.04

I cannot access yahoomail through mozilla firefox 3.0.11 in ubuntu 8.04 ,when i install opera web browser it is possible to access yahoomail . What is the reason for it ,please help me

Install 3.5 as it is much more accepted

sudo apt-get install firefox-3.5

The opera install you are doing is a newer build so will have newer features the page needs.

Can you help with this problem?
