Cannot connect to crash database.

Regardless of what software I'm using, if I try to send a crash report I get a network problem window stating: Cannot connect to crash database, please check your internet connection. I don't know how I SHOULD check my connection, so I just click on Firefox and it works immediately.

This is a bug with Launchpad/Ubuntu that started a few days ago:

The bug is currently marked as Critical and will hopefully be fixed very soon.

Glad to inform you that a fix has been submitted. I've had the same problem, installed the latest updates and it was fixed.

in the latest updated 12.04 the bug is still appearing and hence unable to inform other bugs to launchpad

I encountered this bug too on 12.04 which is updated from 11.10.
