Blank screen using kernel 2.6.31.20

Maybe its my stupid done tried to change with kernel 2.6.31.20 then after restart just blank. All key board hang and could reset only by hard button. How to getting back as previous setting ? Choosing others kernel in grub start not work, please help me !

boot through ubuntu cd and when desktop appears just install grub..open the help file blue icon with i inside on the top task bar...and follow the instructions it will be better if we use grub than grub2 which is creating more problem than solving....

Thanks, it works using earlier grub version than grub2
