Cannot load Gnome

Asked by Simon Le Guével

When I arrive in Gnome desktop, I'm logged out and I'm switched to the login window (The user UBUNTU will be logged in 10 seconds...). It reconnects me but I'm still logged out when Gnome Desktop Appears...

Thankyou for taking the time to report this bug but we need some more information about it. Are you getting this bug whilst using the LiveCD or is Ubuntu installed on your hard drive?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu. While we appreciate the difficulties you are facing, it would appear that the CD image (ISO file) you downloaded could be corrupt. There is an easy way to verify the integrity of the Ubuntu ISO files you download. Could you please visit [WWW] https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM follow the instructions and report back as to whether or not the MD5SUM verified? Thanks in advance.
