add program , not on list of add or remove

Asked by Lowen123

Thunderbird 2.0.0.5 is out for use now . , how do I replace 1.5 with 2.0.0.5 ? I have both on there , but have to use way too many keystrokes to get it started . I need a way to replace 1.5 with 2.0.0.5 !
I am able to use 2.0.0.5 , but cannot get it to come up under applications.

Hello,

go this way:
gnome panel->system->properties->main menu->on the left side choose the menu internet->on the right side choose thunderbird with a right click->select properties->and then replace the command with your command to start your version of thunderbird.

Mathias

PS to remove the old package use synatpic.
