Why Some compiz plugs doesn't effect in my Ubuntu 9.10 host

Hello everyone:
I am using Ubuntu compiz funtion ,But I can't make some effect in one of My Ubuntu Host,I don't know why, if anyone can give me some help,Thanks.

First : I created 8 workspaces,then open CCSM,
Such as the Plugin: Expo
In the panel, "Bindings", Expo key is default as super + E

in the first machine,when I press "super + E", I can get the 8 workspace display no problem
But in the second machine,when I press "super + E", No response.

And I found some effect in the second machine,all No effect,I don't why.
