FileZilla is also available for Ubuntu - get it from the Software Center.

Or, from the terminal:

sudo apt-get install filezilla

to install the filezilla FTP client.

Hi :)

From the Ubuntu side you can probably navigate to the right folder in the normal file-browser just as you would with any folder on your system without having to ftp it out to everyone on the internet.

Errr, when you click on the "Places" menu on the top taskbar do you get any items in the list such as "16.6 GB Media". Try clicking on a few of those and you should find one or a few of them have folders such as "WINDOWS" (they capitalise it, sry that looks shouty) and "Program Files" and crucial "Users & Documents"? Somewhere in that last folder is your "My Documents" folder on the Windows side, although Windows probably renames it "aneesh's Documents" when viewed from outside sometimes. I would (& did) create a "link" (shortcut) to that folder and then dragged it into my ubuntu's "Documents" folder so i could reach it faster.

Good luck and regards from
Tom :)
