HOW TO INSTALL VEETLE IN UBUNTU

I want to install veetle, a free video player in Ubuntu9.04 and I am not having any luck. Veetle has a zip file for linux apps, but I don't know haw to extract it and install. Can someone walk me through it............please

Hi,

In the archive proposed on the web site, there is probably a file named "README". You should read it.

In general, downloading things on the web is not the way to install software on Ubuntu. Thousands of pieces of software, including video players, are already packaged for Ubuntu and available in the software center.

Can you help with this problem?
