find and relace the paragraph mark in Openoffice

I was a user of WinWord, I would like to know how to use "find and replace" function to find the paragraph mark in the Openoffice text and replace it with other or delete it. Can somebody give me a help?

If you literally want to search/replace for instances of that character, try opening the Character Map (info: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/CharacterMap ) and copy/paste from there into the Open Office search/replace function?

... if you are trying to search/replace new lines with spaces or similar, I'm not sure how that'd be done? Does this answer your question?
