Apple does not provide iTunes for Linux. If you do _not_ need the iTunes Music Store, try "Rhythmbox" or "AmaroK". You'll find those applications in Synaptic. Otherwise you may want to use "Sharpmusique" for buying songs.

Rhythmbox: http://www.gnome.org/projects/rhythmbox/
AmaroK: http://amarok.kde.org/

If you're really adicted to iTunes you can use CrossOver Office, which allows you to install wind0w$ applications on Linux (including iTunes). But it's not free. It's a commercial implementation of Wine. Also, it doesn't work with EsounD so you would have to change you engine to OSS or ALSA.

Yes, of course:
======
The gst-engine claims it cannot play MP3 files.
You may want to choose a different engine from the Configure Dialog, or examine the installation of the multimedia-framework that the current engine uses.
You may find useful information in the FAQ section of the amaroK HandBook.
======
I tryed to select another engine, but it doesn't work too...i'm using Audigy2 and only XMMS can play sound on my PC...my be there is some problems with sound card driver?

You might have hit the following issue :

On a fresh Breezy Badger Ubuntu install, due to some legal issues, mp3 playback is not enabled. But with Synaptic it's _very_ easy to set up.

Please follow this link, listing all the packages to be installed in order to have a full multimedia box :

Please tell if this give you the solution and if yes check the answered box to close this thread.
