Can't connect to Pandora.com

I'm trying to listen to pandora.com and the system tells me I need to install a plug-in.
It doesn't identify the plug-in. It makes an attempt to find the alleged plug-in then
states the plug-in could not be found.
What is it looking for and where can I find it?
