Launchpad search feature

Hi :)

Launchpad used to have an excellent search tool up on the top right-hand corner of the thread but it appears to have vanished now. Is there any chance of getting it back?

It used to be excellently well placed there because the Community Documentation has it in the same place which reduced the bewildering array of confusions that almost acted as a blocker.

So is it just on my page that the option to search has vanished? Is it likely to reappear anytime soon?

You mean you missed the search form at the top of the answers list?

No, that search-tool is restricted to the top of that list. There used to be a much better tool at the very very top of the screen & on the far right, just above where your username appears after you have logged in.

It was more useful than the one above the lists because it was there on every page, every thread even when looking up profiles or groups in Launchpad and seemed to do a wider search of the whole site rather than being restricted to the Answers section.

I guess this feature vanished a while ago and i didn't notice it at the time. Still i managed to find what i was looking for but it wasn't easy!
