facebook plugin in koala .10

I am running Ubuntu Koala 9.10 installed it a few days ago. and ive tried to install the facebook plugin but i cant find the "/home/alfavasquez/.mozilla/plugins" . anywhere, how can i do that? I really need help and i dont know how to fix it. am using a internet conection at work dont know if this has something to do with it, cuz i know they block some stuff. any how pls!!! give me some instructions or step by step.

Generally directories in your home directory the begin with a period are used for application configurations. These folders are hidden.

Go to your home folder.
Click view -> show hidden files.

Now you should find the folder .Mozilla

I did find the folder .mozilla on the hidden files but can not find the folder mozilla plug in, just extension and firefox folder. in .mozilla i copy the so file in to fire fox but nothing. iopened FB and still is asking me to download and instal the plug in
