Ubuntu-bug refuses to accept a bug report that has not been accepted as a KDE bug because it is a ubuntu problem.
Please don't get confused by this!
There is a problem with the package "userconfig" in KDE 4.4.0. Running userconfig from the systemsettings program leads to a crash.
This has been reported to bugs.kde.org: https:/
You will find the notice there: "------- Comment #1 From Christoph Feck 2010-02-13 12:48:27 (-) [reply] -------
User Management module is not part of the KDE Software Compilation. Please file
the bug to https:/
Because this is no longer possible I tried to report the bug via ubuntu-bug - but Ubuntu bug says:
"Das Problem kann nicht gemeldet werden:
Dies ist kein echtes Ubuntu-Paket"
Which means: Can not report this problem. It's not a real Ubuntu package!
KDE Platform Version: 4.4.00 (KDE 4.4.0)
Qt Version: 4.6.1
Operating System: Linux 2.6.31-20-generic i686
Distribution: Ubuntu 9.10
Please, can anyone file a bug report for ubuntu-bug???
There is another problem, too: Ubuntu-bug seems not to be able to file a bug about ubuntu-bug!!
HELP!
