I can not install sun java on lucid . has it been droped?

I get a message when i try to install sun java 6 that there is a reference to it but there is no way to install. Has sun java been removed from lucid?

I can confirm that it is not presently there, I don't know if it will be at some future time or not.

You can install openjdk-6-jre or openjdk-6-jdk. For a web browser plugin try icedtea6-plugin
