Harddisk USB on Belkin n+

Asked by Rob Frerejean

Hello,

I have a Belkin N+ Router with USB support. I connect my harddrive to the USB connector. How can I find the disk in my system?

It´s NTFS formated.

in nautilus try:

smb://routers.ip.address.here

Most home grade routers will use something like this:

smb://192.168.0.1

Yours may be different. That may work.

Hi,

I did this smb://192.168.2.1 and then I can see my disk, but can not
access it. I have to give a username and password. And domain. I don´t
know what to type there. I tried my log in for Ubuntu, but no succes.
What should I do now?

Thankx

Check the manuals of your router to find out the passwords and other information for Samba.

Your logon for ubuntu is nothing to do with the router, the router is running its own OS so willl not mirror your account.

Have you tried the username and password you use to access the web configuration interface?

Either way, you should contact belkin or a belkin forum. Not here
