how to install to host own website at home with ubuntu 9.10?

I have created a second question in current web-page site to learn about ubuntu 9.10.

Would you direct me how to do it?

my house internet system
   cable&dsl ---> hurb---> my computer PIII3(192.168.0.2)

do I need to install an ubuntu sever edition?
how to manipulate ubuntu system and to host own website?
how to install oracle Database and mysql?

Furthermore
what do I need to know about installing it without any big mistakes?
