Booting a system With kernel 3.19 or later shows an message
[timecode] ACPI PCC probe failed
on top of the screen.
This message can safely be ignored. It is just telling, that the computer's BIOS is not capable of a certain advanced feature (which currently is the case with almost all systems). This message will show up with every boot, but is just informational and does not do any harm or indicate a problem.
