It, when an action applying to the above terms, as well as changing screen brightness, crashes the whole system. Including the programs, desktop, panels, touchpad on/off btn, caplock, numlock, basically the whole computer.
Depending on what action, normally just when closing the laptop lid, and having it blank screen, it is so serious that after endless reboots, it crashes at logon screen, playing the startup sound 3 times.
Only way to fix that is either reboot, or, sometimes that happens permanently and requires full reinstall.
