NS Change for Ohio

Asked by Jacob Peddicord

While the Ohio team appreciates the server space for the past few months, we feel that our needs have grown. We have a host set up and ready to go with PHP5, MySQL5, SSH, etc, and all we need is an NS change for the subdomain ohio.ubuntu-us.org. We cannot use A records currently since the server IP sometimes changes.

Nameservers:
ns1.dreamhost.com
ns2.dreamhost.com
ns3.dreamhost.com

in DNS terms:
ohio.ubuntu-us.org. IN NS ns1.dreamhost.com.
ohio.ubuntu-us.org. IN NS ns2.dreamhost.com.
ohio.ubuntu-us.org. IN NS ns3.dreamhost.com.

If you need confirmation from me (that I have access to the website) or from Steve, just say so.

Once we have the site up and running with everything transferred over, I'll post back here when the web35 account can be closed on the server.

Thanks,
Jacob

Matthew, this is fine by me. Thanks for letting us use some of your space for the our main site :)

I sent an email a week or so ago with a GPG signature, but it appears my address is greylisted. The server retried for 2 days, but failed on both occasions and gave up.
Is there a certain email address I can send the message to?

Thanks again!
Jacob

Jacob,

For your nameserver changes, see Domain Name Service in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LoCoHosting.

Let me know if you have any more questions.
