South African LoCo Hosting (Move from Matthias' Server)

Incorrect link to bug.

I intended to link to support request #2817

Hi, just wanted to say I've not forgotten, but we're a little shy on resources and a little heavy on todo items... I will be getting to this soon.

This request is per https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LoCoHosting

* We are an approved LocoTeam.
* Craig has signed the Ubuntu Code of Conduct (as have I)
* We will also need DNS migrated from noris.net - do we need to contact <email address hidden>?

If you send a gpg-signed request to <email address hidden> (or me personally), you'll get the magic incantation to do your own DNS updates to ubuntu-za.org.

As a first, preparatory step in moving the hosting, this is a good start.

The ZA LoCo will still require somewhere to park itself though.

I have a server we could use, I may be able to get MoinMoin up too.

I know. It would be a temporary measure in case Matthias' server goes down before loCo hosting is available.

Matthew, please check this out ASAP - our server is being shut down at the end of the week and we need to move the contents and switch over DNS.

I can't FTP to the server you specified using the given username/password.

Secondly, I've created a DNS record on eshu.ubuntu-eu.org per http://www.ubuntu-eu.org/?page_id=5, but we need to get the authoritative nameserver changed from dns[123].noris.net to this server - right? Can you help with this?
