Ubuntu World Wide map require an update

Asked by Miguel Ruiz

The site: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuWorldWide requires an update.

Once I talked with jdub because I put my information but I don't appeared in the map. Jeff run an script and the problem was fixed.

Sysadmins must do the same thing to process a lot of new information that don't appear in the map.

When I updated my details on the site, it automatically ran the update overnight.

For example, they are 5 chileans subscribed but in the map only shows 4 of them.

That would be because the person entering the data did not apply the instructions correctly. Their syntax was incorrect. I have now manually fixed many such entries in the wiki page.

I suspect that when the next cron-job updates the map, their entry, together with many others will now show.

For your reference, the format is:
## Enter your latitude, longitude and nick.
## Latitude and longitude must start with +/- (North and East are positive, N/S is first)
##
## Here are a couple of examples of good entries:
## -33.53 +151.13 "jdub" # JeffWaugh, Sydney, Australia
## -33.53 +151.13 JeffWaugh # My nick is jdub, but I want JeffWaugh on the map
## -33.53 +151.13 "Jeff Waugh" # I can even put a name with spaces up, if I quote it
##
## Some hints:
## * You can use your WikiName, exactly as it is, to have it linked to your wiki page.
## * After the hash (# is a pound symbol for us North Americans), go wild with your comment.

Onno,

Thanks for your explanation.

I did some changes with MauroDeLucca's information. We must wait for next cron-job.

Greetings!
