Ubuntu Website - OBSOLETE

Loaded server, need to get graphics running to finish loading rest.

Just finished loading 8.04 server, but can't get to graphics (Gnome) .. Keeps asking for dependencies, which I don't know.. Tried loading with apt but not successful, would like to load with synaptics package manager instead. Also need to load other packages. What is the link to the listing of Ubuntu repositories?? It what do of great help if someone could rely as to guidance.

Hi,

I'm afraid this probably is not the best place to ask for help. We who monitor this list are in charge of maintaining the Ubuntu website. The best place to get help is probably going to be on the ubuntu forums, the mailing lists or on IRC.
