Recognizes printer but nothing prints

Asked by Randy Mentor

My friend Ken's printer is recognized by Ubuntu when he "adds printer". It shows up in the list. It seemingly is added. It shows up in print dialogues. But nothing prints.

A dual boot system, the printer works on that other side. I'd rather keep Ken away from that other side. Please help.

Randy

Here's some terminal output from troubleshooting I tried.

This might require that Ken install the correct printer driver from the manufacturer's web site. Suggest that he download and follow manufacturer's instructions.
