Tweak icon do not appear in menu

I installed Tweak a few times and no problem. Now I got a fresh install of Ubuntu 7.10 ans the tweak was installed but I can see the icon in tools.

What is missing?

1. Right-click your Gnome Menu
2. Select "Edit Menus"
3. Highlight "System Tools"
4. Put a check on the Tweak box.

Check your menu...
Should fix you right up.

Sorry, there is no "Tweak Box" in "System tools" "Edit Menus"

My apologies, I misunderstood your original question, so I dug deeper:
I did not realize tweak was a hex editor, I expected it to be a tool with a gtk front-end... My last experience with hex editors was with ResEdit on the Mac, pre-OSX- so it's been awhile...

I have installed tweak and am going to give it a go, but I'll probably need your help in the end.

I get it work by downloading from this link: http://www.ubuntugeek.com/howto-tweak-ubuntu.html

I do not know the reason the synaptic install it but I never found it in menu/system tools.
