Please restore support for gnome classic

Asked by minch

I run a business on Ubuntu. It works great. Except I don't like unity - it's too hard to switch between windows. Before it was one click on one toolbar to get to the window I wanted. Now it takes more clicks and messes with my workflow. Also I like having menus.
I'm afraid that as Ubuntu moves away from the classic desktop to unity, it will become harder and harder to maintain the classic desktop. I don't have the time or ability to do that. And it would make me sad, oh, so sad if I had to go back to windows.

Hello,

You should use Ubuntu GNOME instead of the Ubuntu standard (Unity), please see detail here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/UbuntuGNOME/

Can you help with this problem?
