expand jpeg variant types

I am wanting to change my login splash image. The file browser shows jpg extensions but not JPG or jpeg.
An easy work-a-round is to rename the file, but expanding the list of variants would be nicer.

Which version do you use now?

Ubuntu Tweak doesn't support change the Login splash image.
