Hi Grabizna

It looks like Silesian is not in the list of launguages that Launchpad is aware of.

First of all we will have to add the Silesian language to Launchpad.

To do that please follow the information from this page:
https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/rosetta/+faq/23

We need to know the plural forms for Silensian, More info here.
https://answers.edge.launchpad.net/rosetta/+faq/254

I will move this question to Rosseta until we will have Silentian into Launchpad and we know it's plural forms.

If you want to start an Ubuntu Tranlsation team, I suggest to use the ubuntu-l10n-slz name.

Before starting the Ubuntu Silensian Translation team I suggest you to start first a GNOME or KDE translation team and also submit your translations there. In this way your translations will also reach Debian or Fedora users.

Cheers

Hi Adi Roiban,

Silesian language ISO 693 code: szl.

Information about plural forms:

    masculine
    |1st group |2nd group |3rd group

singular: 1 |kovoul 'smith' | robotnik 'worker' | kopruh 'mosquito'
plural: 2,3,4 |kovoule | robotniki | kopruhy
  0,5..n |kovoulóv | robotnikóv | kopruhóv

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    feminine

singular: 1 kula 'sphere' |zatoka 'gulf' |muha 'fly'
plural: 2,3,4 kule |zatoki |muhy
  0,5..n kulóv |zatokóv |muhóv

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    neuter

singular: 1 poly 'field' hopisko 'big man'
plural: 2,3,4 pola hopiska
  0,5..n polóv hopiskóv

I changed the name of Silesian Ubuntu Translation Team. Now it is, as You suggested: ubuntu-l10n-szl.
Now You can add Silesian to Launchpad, I suppose.

Cheers

Grabizna, in order to fully enable Ubuntu Translations into Silesian we will need to create a locale for it.

You can find more info about glibc locales here:

http://translate.sourceforge.net/wiki/guide/locales/glibc

If you need help, feel free to contact us
