Language entry for Ubuntu translations

Asked by Juli Miro

I am requesting to get a new language added to Ubuntu, uwuspeak. Which swounds wike twis. No, this is not a joke, I actually want to do this. The Launchpad team is at https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-l10n-uw

I have checked for an existing team and followed the other things on the checklist here https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Translations/KnowledgeBase/StartingTeam.

Thank You,
A passional linux fan,
and a furry from Finland

Is there an official ISO 639 code for that language?
That is a prerequisite, see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Translations/KnowledgeBase/StartingTeam#Before_you_apply
You cannot occupy the code "uw", even if it seems unused at the moment.

There is no official language code for uwuspeak, the closest official information I could find was a Wikipedia article about uwu and some GitHub repositories, I'm not sure it's sufficient.

Can you help with this problem?
