Taking over a project from an inactive manager

Hi!

I see that you were accepted as a member of the team on 2022-04-28. With that you have access to submit Cornish translations to packages at Launchpad.

So I'm not sure why you ask. There are cases where the owner/administrator(s) of a team are unreachable, so new translators can't join the team. But that seems not to be the case here.

Please clarify.

Despite allowing me to join, the admin is inactive. I'd like to become our team's admin so I can ensure someone is actively moderating the project.

I actually messaged him at the time I posted this question, and I haven't had any response from him, so I have no idea if he has any intention of carrying on with contributions to and administration of our translation team.

You haven't contributed any translations yet, but once you become active here I'll make you an admin.
