Please add New Translation team for karbi language.

Asked by J T

Hi,

I would like to apply for creation of new translation team for Karbi (mjw_IN), India language.

As per guideline on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Translations/KnowledgeBase/StartingTeam , i have made the following note:
* Check for an existing team: There is no current team for Karbi (mjw_IN) language.
* Natural language: Karbi is a native/natural language in India.
* Locale, keyboard and fonts: mjw_IN, 639-3
* Launchpad Team: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-l10n-mjw
* Team communication: Mailing list <email address hidden>
* Guidelines: Will be added after finding/approved wiki page. Translation will mostly be done without changing the context. And not adding fuzzy translation.
* Upstream collaboration.: This team is working on GNOME upstream currently.
* Coordinator: the undersigned (Jor Teron <email address hidden>).

Thanks.

Jor.

Hi Jor!

It looks to me as if you have read up on the topic well. I just answered the other question you asked about creating a wiki page.

There is one tiny detail I want you to fix before I'm ready to add the Karbi team to the Ubuntu Translators translation group: I see that you set the team's membership policy to "delegated". I would like you to change that to "moderated".

Also, the Karbi language also needs to be added to Launchpad, so you should submit a request about that following these FAQ gudelines:

Hi Gunnar,

Thank you for answering my question of creating Wiki. I have added a comment.

As per your suggestion https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-l10n-mjw is now set to "Moderated Team".

Request for Karbi on Launched has been submitted and pending answer at https://answers.launchpad.net/launchpad/+question/682131 .

Thanks you again.

Jor.

I think it's fixed now, and the interface for adding translations directly in Launchpad is there:
