Take over Ubuntu Malay Translators' Team
Regarding Ubuntu Malay Translators' Team (ubuntu-l10n-ms),
*Check for an existing team
The current loco teams seems either inactive or occupied with current projects.
Many translatable projects are still not been translated,
suggested translations are still not been approved
and proposed members are still not been approved since 2012.
So I created a new team (ubuntu-l10n-msa)
*Natural language
Bahasa Malaysia (also known as Malay Language) is the official language in Malaysia.
Myself is a native speaker of the language.
My translations are based on standard terms used by Dewan Bahasa & Pustaka (DBP) and Malaysian Institute of Translation and Book (ITNMB).
These two institutions are government bodies that are responsible in maintaining the standard of Bahasa Malaysia.
I also have a close connection with the officials involved in translations.
I found out that some of the terms used in the accepted previous translations are outdated terms and must be corrected.
