words between curly braces {}

Asked by Daniel G

words between curly braces {} must be translated?

I am working in Xenial (16.04) Template “networkmanager” Spanish (es) and I don't know if all the words bwtween braces must be translated

For example:
Usage: nmcli agent { COMMAND | help }
COMMAND := { secret | polkit | all }

It depends.

In the example you gave, in the first curly braces group "COMMAND" can be translated, but not "help".
In the second group, none of those words can be translated.

Read it as:

nmcli agent help
nmcli agent secret

Those are all real commands.
Best thing is to try and use the program if you can.

Just to make sure, please consider sending your translation upstream to the networkmanager project.

More info here:

Hope you are coordinating with the upstream Spanish translation team for this as well. ;-)
