Klingon translation question

Asked by ghunwI'

Ubuntu currently has tlh language packs in its repositories. However, there is no current translation team for the language and no way to add translations, (or correct old errors, such as the horrifying "ghunlI'vaD", in which the former translator tries to use a verb as a noun, thinking the "-lI'" suffix turns verbs into gerunds or when another former translator tries to translate online by saying "tlheghDaq", which literally means "at a rope").

My question is is there anyway for me or other people to offer Klingon translations for ubuntu. The language is specifically mentioned as being ineligible for a translation team, but it still has a pack that can be downloaded and it is a fully fledged language with many competent contributors. If there is no way to offer translations, can the tlh language packs be removed from the repositories, as they will never be updated

Hi,

since the language cannot explicitily accept translations, we should definitely remove its langpacks and the translation exports.
I'll try to reach a couple of people and see what can be done about this.
