Creation of a team to manage the translation of Ubuntu in Ladin

Some friends and I would like to translate Ubuntu in Ladin. There is no management team yet, so no translation suggestions can be added. We all are speak Ladin as a mother tongue. We set up a team for otu language: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-l10n-lld. We will provide further information later. I have also subscribed to the ubuntu-translators mailing lists.

Hello Omar,

thanks for contacting us, and apologies for the late reply.
Your request seems almost OK to me, there are still a couple of things that should be taken care of, or that we would like to know about.

The team doesn't have a contacting address or a mailing list open to others to join: are you planning to use one? This is needed for new users to join your group (consider that Launchpad mailing list are available only for team members, so if the team is moderated, no new users can join it).

From the Launchpad page I do not see a reference to translation guidelines, glossary or other tools that can make a translator life easier. This is not a blocking item, but we would like to know if there are plans on adding them at least in the future.

Hi Milo,

Sorry for contacting you back that late.

We have set up a contacting address.

We do in fact have references to translation guidelines and will update this asap. There are also some online tools that will be of great help in this task.

thanks for the update. Everything looks good to me! I added your team to the Ubuntu Translators group!

One thing you might be interested: when the team is approved, you can ask for an official Ubuntu mailing list for the team, instead of using the Launchpad one. Please look here, at the end of the page:
