Add Cornish team to Ubuntu Translators group

Asked by Nicky Rowe

Please can you add the Cornish (kw) team to the Ubuntu Translators group. We are here: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-l10n-kw

I have requested a mailing list from Ubuntu, that will be the contact email. I have subscribed to the Ubuntu translators mailing list.

Many thanks

Hi nrowe,

We'll be happy to add the Cornish team to the Ubuntu Translators group, so that you can start translating Ubuntu.

Before we do that, could you please briefly add a comment for the points in the "Before you apply" section from the wiki page below?

    https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Translations/KnowledgeBase/StartingTeam

Thanks!

Regards,
David.

Sure:

There isn't an existing team, it's a natural language, the locale is already defined, the team is located at ubuntu-l10n-kw, it's moderated subscription, there's an info section, I'm still waiting for Ubuntu to make us a mailing list, we're using the generic Launchpad guidelines for the moment, I'm not sure what Upstream is but I'm the admin for Mozilla localisation too so coordination shouldn't be a problem, and I've subscribed to the Ubuntu translators mailing list.

Many thanks

Thanks a lot for the info, it looks good to me.

I've appointed your team for the translation of Cornish in Ubuntu, so you should be able to translate Ubuntu straight away on:

    https://translations.launchpad.net/ubuntu/

As a final step, could you please address the actions on the 'After the team has been accepted' section on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Translations/KnowledgeBase/StartingTeam

Welcome to the Ubuntu translations community and happy translating!

Can you help with this problem?
