The Status of the Hindi Translation team

The page of Hindi translation team is not updated , it is recommmending translation for Karmic. New people are applying for the team , and nobody is to get them approved (It took me 2 weeks to get approved after I sent an email concerning this to the launchpad-translators mailing list.) Can anything be done?

Hi,

I'd recommend discussing this with the Hindi team. If the translations leader is not active or busy with other projects, we've got a procedure for appointing a new leader:

We encourage people in a leader position to resign when they cannot contribute as before, and pass the torch to other contributors wanting to step up as the new coordinator and lead the team.

I was a little tied up due to my marriage preperations.

Vibhav, there are currently 3 moderators who have privilge of accepting members. Usually it doesn't take that long.

Let me know what exact help you need from my end.

The Hindi Translation Team launchpad page is quite old and I also was going to mention about another Hindi Translation team which is dead and is assigned to many other projects. Since its dead , no translation suggestions are getting approved.
