Adding my bazaar branch to ubuntu-translations?

Asked by Rachid on 2011-03-17

L.S.,

Last weeks I've been working on a tool to generate wiki (status) pages based on launchpad translations. The tool and more info can be found on http://rachidbm.appspot.com/

I've pushed the code to a personal branch: https://code.launchpad.net/~rachidbm/ubuntu-nl/ul10n-wiki-stats

To make it possible for others to contribute (bug reports, feature requests, coding) I think it's clever to make some sort of Launchpad project. Should I make a dedicated project or can it be hosted under the ubuntu-translations poject?
Or maybe under ubuntu-translations-tools?
I'm not THAT familiar with Launchpad yet, so I would like to hear some suggestions.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
Rachid.

Hi Rachid,

I just created a project group for Ubuntu translations the other day, that might just be what we need. My recommendation would be that you:

* Create a Launchpad project for ul10n-wiki-stats
* Set up the Code settings adding your current branch as the main one
* Add 'ubuntu-translations-project' in the 'Part of: (Optional)' field in https://launchpad.net/ul10n-wiki-stats/+edit

This will make your project to be under the umbrella of the "Ubuntu Translations Project" group at https://launchpad.net/ubuntu-translations-project. E.g:

+ Ubuntu Translations Project
  |
  +- Ubuntu Translations
  |
  +- Ubuntu Translations Wiki Stats
