Paste and optionally copy?

Asked by zubozrout

Hello,
I've been enjoying Ubuntu touch for the last two weeks and so the terminal app. But I really miss one feature that I think should definitely be implemented. If I copy something from e.g. web browser, I want to be able to paste it to terminal. How do I do that? Copying from terminal would be also great, albeit that is a tricky and more complicated feature.

Thank you very much.

PS. The default CRT-like style is odd and unusable + I don't think there should be text visible under the top toolbar, is that a bug? (I am using it on my Nexus 7 LTE)

There is currently a bug for this filed against the project (lp:1268399), however, it is unclear if the bug was originally meant to apply to the gnome-terminal application or not. It may be beneficial to file a new bug explicitly stating that this is a feature request.

Can you help with this problem?
