Aren't GDM parameters lacking of options ???

Asked by Marchombre

Here's what I can choose in the GDM configuration tool :

-show the screen for choosing who will log in
- Log in as ...user_name automatically
Allow X seconds for anyone else to log in first.

And i can't even unlock those options !! (the "unlock" button isn't working)

Where are the themes ? We are the other options ? Isn't there a way not to use moblin-session to have all those options back ? Taht is to say, using gnome-session and using themes etc, still being able to connect in the moblin session.

Will I have to keep the seriously buggy gdm theme ?

I changed the question title, because it wasn't clear at all, sorry.

When I log in GDM, I sure have a lot of options. All the necessary ones. But if I want to configure what GDM looks like, that is to say, if I want to change themes, automatic login options, etc, that's not possible.

Moreover, depending on the icon theme i'm using, there are glitches :

- First, there's a "pannel" at the bottom, black, with the icons on it. There is also some sort of black "window" in the center of the screen, with a white ubuntu logo, and the password/login fields. But the background is all brown and the difference of color between the window + the pannel and the background is ugly.

- Second, the pannel at the bottom only shows half of the icons if I use the moblin icon theme (which isn't the case right now, because I've lost again the moblin theme... Dunno how to be able to use it again). It seems to be a problem with the width that can't be too much increased. I can't take a screenshot of it, it would be much simple...
