What is the difference between the "Print" & "Screen" versions of the PDFs?

Hello,

On http://ubuntu-manual.org/, I wasn't able to find any info about the difference between the "Print" & "Screen" versions of the PDFs.
I quickly compared the 2 english PDFs for version 12.10 and I only noticed the following differences:
  1. Print version has 2 extra pages at the beginning; and
  2. the text of the Print version is mostly black.

Are there other differences?

Hello, Rob.

The screen version of the PDF is designed to be read on-screen, while the print version is designed for printing.

As you've already noticed, the only differences between the two versions are:

* The print version has black hyperlinks instead of colored hyperlinks. This makes the text easier to read when it's printed.
* The print version contains an extra title page called a 'half title page' or 'bastard title page'. This title page takes the brunt of the wear and tear so that the nicer, full title page stays intact. (Half title pages aren't as common as they once were, and we originally included one only because we needed to bump the page count up to a multiple of 4 for printing at lulu.com.)

There aren't currently any other differences between the two versions.
