TexLive 2009 in Lucid

Hello,

Is there any changes in the compilation of LaTeX in Lucid? Since I see that TeX Live 2009-7 is available, do I have to compile TeX Live from source? Just tried and the TeX Live built with Ubuntu didn't work (install-pkgs.sh even says that no TeX Live installed).

Hello.

I'm afraid the TeX Live packages in Lucid do not contain some of the programs and packages that we require to build the manual.

You'll need to download TeX Live from upstream. (It comes pre-compiled.)
