Page size problem

Asked by Xuacu Saturio

Hello!

I have been building a test pdf for asturian language from sources and, after some TeX errors about chapter and glossary links (already fixed, my fault) the Manual looks fine... except for the front page.

As my default papersize is A4 and the Manual uses US Letter, the right part of the page is cut (text and artwork). Oddly, when I try to take a svg image it looks fine :?

I don't see this as a bug, because people will download the Manual from the Team page, but just curious... Is there a workaround to fit both US Letter and A4 papers?

Regards, and thank you.

The title pages are being designed individually and will use the proper paper size for each language.

Does that mean that for A4 paper size the title page will fit? (I mean, different text and artwork placement than for US Letter)

Yes. The manuals set on A4 paper will have a corresponding A4-sized title page and the text on the page will be sized and positioned correctly.

We're adjusting each title page by hand to ensure it looks good. We're starting with the translations that are the most complete and working down the list.

I will be updating the title page code soon to start displaying these new title pages. Stay tuned! :)
