The tested maas.io image was : https://images.maas.io/ephemeral-v3/daily/groovy/amd64/20200811/ which i thought would have the latest fix for this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/cloud-init/+bug/1886531

I have no way to verify via a public manifest file. such as http://cloud-images.ubuntu.com/groovy/current/groovy-server-cloudimg-amd64.manifest
